The overall purpose of this website is to encourage and edify the body of Christ through sound biblical teaching. In keeping with that effort, it is my desire to equip you with resources  that will assist you in your walk with Christ and growth in Christian maturity. And I want to do that by referring you to several other great Christian websites. To my knowledge, each of the websites listed below contain teachings and doctrines that are consistent with fundamental Christian truth.

Christian Classics Ethereal Library -- This is a who's who of the Fathers of the Christian Faith. Here, you will find entire volumes written by such men as St. Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, John Calvin, Jonathan Edwards, and Matthew Henry, to name just a few. Many of the authors are men I have never even heard of before. But all of the works featured here are public domain. You can literally read entire books online. Many are also available for download.

CCEL also features The World Wide Study Bible, which contains the complete Biblical text in a number of versions and translations, as well as introductions and commentaries by various authors.

Monergism.com -- Monergism is defined as the position that "the grace of God is the only efficient cause in beginning and effecting conversion." This view is reflected in the Formula of Concord, which states that "man of himself, or from his natural powers, cannot contribute anything or help to his conversion, and that conversion is not only in part, but altogether an operation, gift and present and work of the Holy Ghost alone, who accomplishes and effects it by His virtue and power, through the Word, in the understanding, heart and will of Man." This website is devoted to the teaching and defense of this truth. It contains articles, commentaries, systematic theologies, and other resources by great preachers (both past and present) who have defended and proclaimed the truth that salvation is entirely of God.

The Spurgeon Archive -- He was known as "the prince of preachers." On a weekly basis, he preached to more than 10,000 people from his pulpit at the Metropolatin Tabernacle in London, England. This website contains his sermons, as well as his sermon notes. Also featuring links to other Spurgeon resources, this website is "Everything Spurgeon."

In Touch Ministries -- I believe Charles Stanley to be one of the greatest preachers of our era. This websites features his daily devotional, audio streaming of his program, and other resources from Dr. Stanley. It also features a link to the Institute for Christian Living, an on-line Bible study course taught by Dr. Stanley.

The Active Word -- Featuring the teaching ministry of Rev. Bob Coy of Calvary Chapel, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I have been impressed with Pastor Coy's emphasis on reaching the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ. His website is worth Checking out.

Biblical Training -- From this website, you can listen to lectures by a number of professors from leading seminaries in the country. Transcripts of each lecture are displayed on the screen as you listen. It is just like attending actual seminary classes. And all for free.

Grace to You Ministries -- John MacArthur is one of the foremost Bible Scholars today. In the past, when I had the time and opportunity, I have greatly enjoyed listening to his radio broadcast. In addition, I own copies of a couple of his commentaries, which are well-written and are faithful to the Scriptures.
